2014 BRM Track Day
A Casual friendly day just like it used to be!

More than 175 members and their guests gathered at Blyton Park, Nr Gainsborough on April 25th for the first BRM Association Track Day.

Eight ex works cars P15/1, P48/2, P57/2, P261/5, P126/1, P160/7, P160/8, P201/5 were joined by a Lotus 24-BRM and BRP-BRM. The famous BRM 1960 Leyland Transporter added to the scene in the paddock.

BRMs first car the 1950 1.5-litre V16 came from the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu for the day and made a number of spirited runs and was firing on all 16 cylinders, running up to 9,000rpm.

During the spell of rain in the middle of the day, P160-8 went out on wets which was very reminiscent of the teams final win in Monaco 1972 when Jean-Pierre Beltoise drove a flawless race in very wet conditions.

The cars were provided by individual owners and Bourne-based historic motorsport specialists Hall & Hall.

A DVD of the event will be available later in the year
